Tongue Tie :

The phrase tongue tie is commonly used among the parents with babies . Parents are not aware of that condition. Most of the parents need education about the complications. The tongue tie occurs in anterior 1/3 of the tongue and often occurs in posterior 2/3 of the tongue. The anterior tongue tie are noticeable as the muscles that connect the tongue to floor of the mouth is visible. However posterior tongue tie are not usually noticed . The muscles that connects the posterior 2/3 of the tongue to floor of mouth is difficult to see. Babies might have a problem of sticking their tongue out of their teeth . Parents should make appointments with dentist or pediatric dentist to have good oral health for their babies with tongue tie
